Methodology:

Each month has a designated ‘production weekend’ and all the members are required to participate
-
Each member gets the opportunity to Write & Direct 1-2 projects per year
-
Filmmakers time frame:
1-2 weeks development
-
1-2 weeks of pre-production
1-2 shooting days (see dates)
1 week to complete the 'Director's Cut'

Project requirements:
-
The project must be suitable to be shot in 1-2 days of principal photography. Additional days for B-roll or pick up shots might be scheduled prior approval from Production Company.

Script must be sent to Production Company at least two weeks before the scheduled day for principal photography. Minor changes to the script can be made up to one week before principal photography prior approval of Production Company.

The project must be able to be produced within the Production Company’s designated budget and available resources; if additional budget is needed, the member is responsible for covering extra costs

Member’s responsibilities:

If a member asks for feedback, a reply must be provided feedback within 1-3 days of the request.

When Directing a project:

Script (or may select a script from the pool)

Directorial elements (breaking down the script, shot design, etc)

Final casting

Rehearsing with the actors

Director's cut (to be delivered one week after wrap)

When Crewing in any non-directorial position

Be respectful

Don’t provide feedback unless feedback is requested

Production company's responsibilities
PRE-PRODUCTION:
Pre-production assistance (breaking down the script, creating shooting schedule, line producing, etc)
Assisting with Casting needs (posting casting call, providing casting space, scheduling callbacks)
SAG paperwork (when applicable)
Contracts & talent releases
Providing location and production insurance
Assisting securing locations (contracts, insurance, scheduling, etc)
PRODUCTION
Camera equipment (Black Magic 4K, cannon lenses)
Sound equipment (zoom recorder, boom microphone, possibly lavs)
2 TON Grip an electric package
Craft services and lunch
Additional Production budget: $100/short (to be used in miscellaneous elements)
POST-PRODUCTION
Motion graphics Intro credits (when applicable)
Polish Director’s cut (when applicable)
Color correction (DaVinci software)
Art design (poster, website, disc print, blu-ray cases, etc)
Assigning and updating credits on IMDB
Blu-ray authoring
Festival/competition submission fees ($100 budget)
The scheduled dates for principal photography are:

September 6th and/or 7th
October 17th and 18th

2015:
January 10th and 11th
February 7th and 8th
March 14th and 15th
April 11th and 12th
May 9th and 10th
June 13th and 14th

August 8th and 9th
September 12th and 13th
The current designated budget for each short is $1,350 divided as follows:
Camera equipment: $500
Grip and electric equipment: $300
Production Insurance: $250
Craft services and lunch $100
Production miscellaneous expenses $100 (special props, wardrobe, etc)
Festival/Competition fees: $100
The designated budget can be changed or modified by Production Company at any time.
If a Director considers that the short requires additional funding, he/she can choose to pay out of his pocket for expenses outside the current designated budget.
